Manure

on the internet.
Manure
spreader is a wagon with mechanical apparatus designed
to distribute manure spreader as the tractor is driven
through a pasture or field. Manure spreader are used
to carry animal waste and spread it on the fields.
Whether you're a large-scale producer looking for extreme
manure spreading abilities or an organic farmer seeking
a small, but easy-to-use manure spreader , we at AgroMachine
provide you with a whole range of equipments to choose
from. A large number of models are available from different
manufacturers bringing revolutionary manure spreader
capabilities to you and making your tasks easier.
Manure spreader is either friction drive or powered
by the Power Take Off of a tractor. The smaller, older
manure spreader is friction-driven; the bigger, newer
manure spreader is made for a PTO. Friction-drive manure
spreader is ground driven; the power for the mechanics
of the manure spreader is generated from the tires rolling
on the ground. Therefore, this type of spreader can
be operated behind a pick-up or a team of horses, as
it is a self-unloader. There are two levers, one to
control the speed of the apron chain, which moves the
load toward the rear of the manure spreader and the
other to control the beater bar at the back of the manure
spreader, which flings the manure into the air. Spreaders
powered by a PTO are usually bigger, heavy-duty manure
spreader, which must be operated by a large tractor.
With the increased emphasis on water quality and nutrients
in runoff from non-point sources it is important to
know how much manure spreader is applying over a given
area. To maximize crop productivity and minimize adverse
environmental effects, it is critical that land applications
of manure spreader meet, but not exceed, crop nutrient
requirements. The assumption that the nutrient content
is uniform throughout the manure spreader -pile is probably
not valid anyway. With a large potential variable in
nutrient content, the calibration of the manure spreader
becomes extremely important. Manure spreader calibration
helps to determine the amount of manure spreader, on
a weight per unit area basis that is being applied to
a field. Three methods for manure spreader calibration
for spreaders handling solid and semi-solid manure spreader
is the Tarp method, Swath width and distance method,
Load per field method.
The tarp method involves placing a tarp on the field,
spreading manure on the tarp and then weighing the manure
spreader to gauge the application rate. Swath width
and distance method involves determining your swath
width and how far you travel to empty a full load. From
these measurements and the weight of a manure spreader
load, calculate how much manure spreader you are applying
per acre. Loads per field method involve count of the
number of loads of manure spreader applied to the whole
field and dividing by the acreage of the field.
